About the Trainer

Our head trainer, Haylie, is a seasoned professional that prioritizes the science and psychological approach to dog training.
As a Macon native, she attended college at Middle Georgia State University to study Art and Psychology, however, she retraced her roots back to her childhood passion, dogs.
Haylie is an active member in the Macon Kennel Club in Perry, Georgia as well as an American Kennel Club judge for Canine Good Citizen, STAR Puppy, AKC Fetch, and the AKC Temperament Tests.
She first started training back in 2021 under her mentor and branched out on her own with the knowledge that was imparted on to her.
Shortly after starting her apprenticeship, she was diagnosed with a neurological and cardiovascular disability called POTS along with other conditions that accompany it, this became her motivation to hone in her skills to specialize in training service dogs, specifically for medical detection.
While her specialty lies in service dogs, she also has a passion for dog sports, particularly lure coursing and frisbee.
